ALBANY, N.Y. — Albany police are investigating a shooting on Second Avenue.

Police say they were called to the area of Second Avenue and Grandview Terrace shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday.

Officers responding to the scene learned a man had been taken to Albany Medical Center with a gunshot wound.

Police say the 21-year-old man was shot in the arm, but is expected to live.

There is no word on any arrests.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information on the shooting can submit a tip to the Capital Region Crime Stoppers.
