A Hinsdale man is facing murder charges in connection with the death of his estranged girlfriend.

The Berkshire County District Attorney's office says it happened Friday morning on Ashmere Drive in Hinsdale. After a 911 call for a possible shooting, officers responding found the victim, 24-year-old Kassedi Clark, dead inside a vehicle on the property.

Michael Boulais, 32, was taken into custody and is being held without bail pending arraignment.

An autopsy will be performed to determine Clark's cause of death. Investigators say they believe it's an isolated incident.
