Albany Police have identified the victim of Thursday's First Street homicide.

Police were called to a report of shots fired near Quail Street around 2 p.m. Shortly after, officers were notified that a man in a car tried flagging down an ambulance on Henry Johnson Boulevard.

Anthony Malloy, 35, of Albany was treated for gunshot wounds to the upper body and was taken to Albany Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
