Republicans are fighting to maintain control of the state Senate, and they are hoping flipping a Central New York seat would make that easier. Incumbent Democrat David Valesky was defeated by Rachel May in the primary last month. Valesky was part of the breakaway conference that was in a power-sharing agreement with the GOP. But now that he is not running, the Republican candidate is getting new attention. That candidate is Janet Burman, and she joins us to talk about her campaign.
