Governor Andrew Cuomo has received a number of endorsements in his bid for re-election, but one in particular is causing some Democrats to take pause.
Cuomo will be running in November on the Independence Party line. The party is also backing a number of Republicans, including longtime Cuomo opponents, congressmen John Faso and Chris Collins.
Skeptics say Cuomo is guilty of doublespeak: he says he's for Democrats, yet his presence on that party line ultimately boosts support for Republican candidates.
