SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: July 12 is National Summer Learning Day, a reminder that a vacation from school should not mean a break from education. Parents are encouraged to make sure their kids are still reading or engaging in other activities that keep their minds sharp. But the New York State Network for Youth Success would also like to see more formal programs around the state, from day camps to internships. Chris Neitzey, the group's policy director, explains what that means.
