The session is quickly winding down at the Capitol, with legislative leaders insisting their members will leave for the summer tomorrow, as scheduled. But lawmakers are still hoping to push through a range of bills before leaving town.
And Assemblywoman Rodneyse Bichotte says she has a bill that's particularly urgent.
The measure is aimed at reducing racial profiling by law enforcement - which she says can happen unintentially, but have serious consequences, especially for undocumented immigrants.
