Sadly, New York State is no stranger to combating the opioid crisis.

The End Overdose NY coalition alongside whistleblower Hedge Clippers met in Albany today in effort to hold drug companies accountable.

The group says pharmaceutical executives are profiting from the opioid crisis and are supporting a tax they want state lawmakers to impose on these companies.
