Republicans officially have a candidate in the state comptroller's race now that former campaign operative Jonathan Trichter has announced that he is running. Back in 2014, Democratic incumbent Tom DiNapoli easily won re-election. But in 2010, it was a much, much closer contest. And although he had previously worked mostly for Democrats, Trichter actually worked for DiNapoli's Republican opponent that year, Harry Wilson. Trichter joins us from New York City to explain why he decided to go from adviser to candidate.
