The state budget talks always include a lot of ideas for helping people get jobs or move up the career ladder. This year, Governor Cuomo's proposals include creating a new office to coordinate and oversee workforce training programs. And the Assembly one-house budget added funding for workforce development, which my next guests say should include a specific program for women to help them achieve not only economic stability, but empowerment. Joining us to explain what that means are Assemblywoman Nily Rozic, the chair of the Assembly task force on women's issues, and Christine Sadowski, the Executive Director of the the YWCA of Orange County.
