New York State is trying to end the AIDS epidemic here by 2020, which is really now just around the corner. The goal was set by Governor Cuomo in 2014, and while there is still no cure for AIDS, the focus is on dramatically reducing new HIV infections and ensuring those who are HIV positive have access to care. But along with medical care, people living with HIV also need stable housing. And some say that's where the state needs to do more.
