High school and college kids across the state are involved in journalism, whether writing for a student newspaper or reporting for a TV news show. And these students want to be able to investigate and be engaged in serious journalism, but are often censored by school administrators. That's why Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo and Senator Tom O'Mara have introduced the Student Journalist Free Speech Act.
