New Yorkers will vote in the gubernatorial election in November. Candidates so far include former State Senator Terry Gipson, Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb, former Erie County Executive Joel Giambra, and Libertarian candidate Larry Sharpe. Sharpe announced his campaign last summer. His campaign promises include reforming education to better train students for the workforce, reducing property taxes, and restructuring taxes to help farmers, just to name a few.
