This year the state Department of Labor will be reviewing the minimum wage for tipped workers. As you may know, tipped workers can be paid a lower hourly rate by their employer since they also get money directly from customers. But Governor Cuomo is pushing to end that practice, saying tips aren't always adding up to the regular minimum wage, creating financial issues for workers. However, moving away from tipping would mean big changes for restaurants. Melissa Fleischut, President and CEO of the New York State Restaurant Association, joins us to explain.
