The state legislature has had several members accused of sexual misconduct in recent years, and this week, Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin was added to the list when the Ethics Committee recommended he be sanctioned. With some previous cases, the Assembly was accused of not taking accusations seriously and protecting members over accusers. So does this show that things have changed?
