Sexual assault allegations are mounting against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein. He's been accused of harassing or assaulting up-and-coming actresses and employees both in the U.S. and abroad. Meanwhile, the future of the Weinstein Company is murky, and leaders of the company are looking at selling. That company, co-founded by Harvey Weinstein and his brother, has received more than 400 thousand dollars in tax credits from New York State since 2011. The issue has some members of the state legislature calling for an end to tax breaks for corporations that ignore sexual misconduct complaints. Assemblywoman Linda Rosenthal plans to propose legislation that would require companies seeking tax credits to disclose their history of settlements and complaints related to sexual harassment or assault.
