State lawmakers aren't due back at the capitol until January but watchdog groups want them to return to Albany ASAP to address questions about economic development highlighted by the most recent public corruption scandal. A group of ethics reform advocates are calling for an emergency oversight hearing to get to the bottom of how state contracts are awarded and to discuss ways to reform the process and make it more transparent.
