A new report says prisoners with disabilities are not getting proper accommodations while behind bars. Amplifying Voices of Inmates with Disabilities says there are more than 600,000 people with disabilities currently in prisons across the country. And the coalition says those prisoners are often neglected or even subject to extra punishment. But here in New York, there have been improvements and further efforts are underway.
