We have one more summery, humid day to get through Wednesday before a much more seasonable pattern takes hold. This much cooler air will arrive behind a cold front that arrives Wednesday. The moisture will this front is limited so while we do expect and few spotty showers and thunderstorms, no widespread rain is expected at this time. Thursday looks like a nice autumn day with breaks of sun and a gusty , cool breeze. A second cold front will then arrive on Friday with showers. Behind this front, even cooler air settles in for the weekend, but both days look dry as of now.

Our forecast: Warm and muggy tonight with mainly clear skies and lows in the mid to upper 60s. Patchy dense fog is also likely. Wednesday will be breezy, warm and humid with a mix of sun and clouds, and highs from around 80 in downtown Buffalo to the mid and upper 80s away from the lake. A few spotty showers and storms are expected after noon.
