If the Sabres want to overhaul their roster, they have less than a week to make trades.

The deadline is Monday afternoon and the team has two names generating a ton of trade buzz: center Evander Kane and goalie Robin Lehner.

Players try to ignore trade rumors, but they admit it's impossible to completely block out.

“You follow it a little bit obviously. Nothing I think constantly about,” Lehner said. “In the end, either I'll stay here or go somewhere else. It is what it is. I'm not looking at that. You'll see what the future holds.

“You hear rumors flying around, it's tough to avoid them. It happens,” said center Ryan O’Reilly. “It's a part of the game. It's an unfortunate part.”

The deadline for the Sabres to make a deal is Monday at 3 p.m.
