BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The architect of the Buffalo Sabres' current roster and the coach he picked two seasons ago are out, as announced Thursday morning by the franchise.
Tim Murray and Dan Bylsma were both relieved of their duties, as general manager and head coach, respectively. A statement from owner Terry Pegula said the decision was made by he and his wife Kim after reviewing the season and considering the future.

Murray's honesty and openness will certainly be missed. It was refreshing.
