Sports Reporter Greg Vorse has been reporting on Western New York sports stories for us since our launch in March 2009.
Greg started his broadcasting career in 2007 as a sports photographer/reporter at WJET/WFXP in Erie, PA covering sports on the high school, college, and pro levels in the Tri-State area. In 2008, Greg became Sports Reporter/Anchor at then-Time Warner Cable 8 News in Jamestown. In 2010, Greg was promoted to main anchor in Jamestown and has since become a fill-in anchor for Spectrum News in Buffalo/Rochester.
Greg has covered several pro championships, including the Stanley Cup Finals, NBA Finals, and the 2007 World Series, but Greg's true sports passion is on the high school and college levels. Although Greg grew up in Girard, PA he does not devote his fandom to the Steel City. He loves Michigan Wolverine Athletics and the New York Yankees.
Greg graduated from Thiel College, where he met his wife Martha.
