The winter weather is almost here and affording jackets can be quite pricey with the upcoming holiday season.

To help lighten the load, Colvin Cleaners set up shop to for the 26th annual Coats for Kids.

Children outgrow coats easily and many people new to the Queen City aren't prepared for the winter weather. Families in need were able to pile through more than six thousand winter coats.

"You don't have to spend money on coats,” said Colvin Cleaners Owner Paul Billoni. “You can spend money on something else, like putting food on the table. We would love for this program to not be needed. That would be wonderful one day."

Another load of coats will be given away at True Bethel Baptist Church on November 17

To donate coats, visit Colvin Cleaners or any local Allstate branch.
