We're getting into the creepiest time of year and to really kick things off, Saturday, September 29 is National Ghost Hunting Day, and paranormal enthusiasts are coming out to be part of the "World's Largest Ghost Hunting Event."

Several places in our area are participating, including the Haunted Bergen House in Bergen, Seymour PlaceGO ART! In Batavia, Dunkirk Lighthouse & Veterans Park Museum in Dunkirk, and Rolling Hills Asylum in East Bethany. For those of you who might not know, these locations are part of The Haunted History Trail of New York State, which includes more than 80 haunted stops in upstate New York.

Sharon Coyle from Rolling Hills Asylum joined me to talk about the event, which raises money for historic restoration and preservation work at these sites. You can watch a live stream starting tonight at 9 p.m. Just head to Facebook and search #LargestGhostHunt.
