SANBORN, N.Y. — In need of some sunshine? Head up to Sanborn, where seven acres of beaming sunflowers await.

For a second season, the sunflowers of Sanborn are in full bloom, creating a sea of gold, red and even pink.

The Saunders Settlement wonder can be enjoyed at all times, but to visit the flowers up close, stop by between 8 a.m. and dusk.

New this year to enhance the experience is a mini village including the Sunflower Café, complete with burgers, hot dogs and ice cream, along with a general store and a gem mine. The village is open starting at 4 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. on weekends.
