A lot has happened to Buffalo's West side lately.

The neighborhood held its 10th annual "Taste of Diversity" saturday showing off what the community is made of.

There's everything from food to music and dancing along with community groups and businesses that hope to educate people about life in their neck of the woods.

Event organizers say it's a great way to continue bringing new life into the area.

"The beauty of the west side is the diversity makes us really strong here. It's a really great neighborhood, we live here, by the business here, and it’s a really great community to raise a kid in. So anything we can do to get people to come down and try the west side and celebrate all that's wonderful about it," said Taste of Diversity Co-Chair Jeanenne Petri.

The event started small as a neighborhood gathering and grew into the larger festival it is today.
