BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Cazenovia Park is set to become more welcoming to visitors, as the Abbott Road entrance to the large South Buffalo park, near Mercy Hospital, will be reconstructed and enhanced.

A $90,000 grant to the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy will also go toward installing additional signage and repaving many of the trails and pathways.

The funding comes on the heels of a three million dollar grant last year to reconstruct Abbott Road.

"We're humbled by the thousands of park users and neighbors who appreciate and respect the safety, health and glory of these historic green spaces," said Stephanie Crockatt, Olmstead Parks executive director.

The work is expected to begin and be completed this fall.
