Buffalo-based international fashion and event photographer Rick Warne has shot thousands of celebrities in his life, including a few royals.

"I got invited to cover a Night of Heroes, which is an awards ceremony in London and Prince William and Prince Harry were the guests of honor because it was a royal occasion as well," said Warne.

Warne remembers the royal siblings and how different they were with the paparazzi.

"Interesting thing, you know with William and Harry, William would never make contact with the cameras, as much as the press and paparazzi called 'William, William turn for the cameras. He would not. Whereas, Harry's a different character. He was the one that would always turn around and wave to the cameras and smile," said Warne.

Now, nine years later Prince Harry will once again be in the spotlight when he walks down the aisle with his bride Meghan Markle in one of the biggest media events in years.

"The public will be out there lining the streets for days and days, sleeping whether it's rain or cold, they're gonna stay there just to have that glimpse of that carriage that goes by 15, 20, 30 seconds," said Warne.

And it's not just the royals people will be watching.

"And you gotta remember that also the people that stand in the  crowds are gonna want to dress up for the occasion. So they're gonna be beautiful. I mean, I would love to be there taking photographs because, you know it'll be a dream come true to be there taking photographs of just the public," said Warne.

And while Warne won't be there covering the wedding, he says he'll be up bright and early sipping tea, eating scones, and watching Prince Harry and Meghan Markle make history.

"The super exciting thing for me is the fact that Harry's marrying an American lady and that's great for relations. You know English and Americans have always got on well and loved each other. So, I think it's a great thing for the monarchy," added Warne.
