BUFFALO, N.Y. — The alleged driver in a deadly shooting at Buffalo's iconic Anchor Bar restaurant is slated to appear before a judge Monday.

Gregory Ramos is scheduled to answer to the two-degree murder charge he's facing.

Investigators say he was the getaway driver for Jorge Suarez in the 2016 shooting.

Suarez was convicted last year of killing 32-year-old Freddie Dizon inside the kitchen of the Main Street Anchor Bar location. He was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for the crime.

Ramos already is serving four years in prison on an unrelated charge.

He admitted to choking the mother of his children until she passed out in the middle of Fargo Avenue in March 2017.

Ramos could face an additional 25 years in prison if he's convicted.
