Amherst Police have identified the victim in Tuesday's apartment fire. 

Mahfoz Shaban Jr, 46, died from injuries sustained in a two-alarm fire at the Oak Ridge Estates apartment complex. 

Approximately 50 firefighters fought the blaze.

Crews pulled out Shaban from 780 Millersport Hwy, who was then transported to ECMC.

No other injuries were reported. 

According to officials, the blaze started around 11 a.m.
