A robbery suspect took the Jamestown police on quite a ride last night.

Police say the pursuit lasted about an hour, ending at around 11 p.m. with the suspect being taken into custody.

Jamestown police announced the arrest of a 20-year-old male, who was wanted in Buffalo for several armed robberies

According to officials, the suspect was reported to be armed and holding a female in the car at gunpoint.

At this time, there are no injuries to report, but officers are continuing to investigate.
