A Dunkirk woman arrested and charged for her boyfriend’s murder was found not guilty Friday.
Rebecca Ruiz, 28, was found guilty of weapons possession but not in the death of 21-year-old Julian Duman. Duman was shot and killed in a yard on Lake Shore Drive East last July.
At the time, family members say the couple had been dating for about a year.
Ruiz was also found not guilty on charges of tampering with evidence.
She faces up to 15 years in prison when she’s sentenced in June.
