Three Buffalo-area Wegmans are going from 24 hour-a-day grocery shopper havens to instead closing from midnight to 6 a.m., beginning March 4.

The Amherst Street supermarket in Buffalo, Alberta Drive location in Amherst, and Military Road Niagara Falls Wegmans will no longer be round-the-clock.

A Wegmans spokesperson said this will allow the company to focus on times when the stores are most busy, and that no employees will lose their jobs.
