BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The holiday season is stressful, but a fictional TV Holiday celebrated in Buffalo is meant to ease the pain.
Festivus, airing originally on Seinfeld, was featured in Season 9 of the series with the slogan "A Festivus for the rest of us!"
Community Beer Works and restaurant Hydraulic Hearth hosted a Festivus celebration at Larkin Square Friday night.
Those who attended did the usual Festivus traditions like the airing of grievances, an opportunity to tell others how they have disappointed you this year and an Elaine dance-off.
"It was very well received from day one that's for sure there's tons of Seinfeld fans in Buffalo, but I think this year being Friday it's going to be the biggest one yet," said Harry Zemsky, Hydraulic Hearth owner.
This is the third year in a row they have celebrated.
