BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The newest loft apartment project in Buffalo is the Bosche Lofts, located on the 900 block of Main Street and featuring 23 loft-style apartments.
The two rehabbed buildings previously faced demolition before they were rescued by Greenleaf Development.
Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown says it's a great addition to the Allentown neighborhood, although he wasn't sure if it was going to happen.
"Often times when we came out years ago to look at the building, it looked like it was being held up by matchsticks," said Brown, D-Buffalo, "and at times we said, 'are they really going to be able to pull this off?'"
The project cost $6.2 million.
