ERIE COUNTY, N.Y. -- A foundation has been set up in memory of Nolan Burch, a Williamsville native that died in Nov. 2014 during an alleged hazing incident at West Virginia University.

The goal of the Nolan Michael Burch Foundation is to spread awareness about the dangers of hazing and bullying.

Police in Morgantown said Burch became highly intoxicated and died during a fraternity initiation. Police determined that Burch's blood-alcohol content was .493, more than six times of what is considered legally drunk.

Nolan Burch was 18. Two people were arrested in connection with his death.

The foundation is selling shirts and hats with Burch's initials, NMB, which foundation creators said also stands for "no more bullying."
