GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. — One person is dead after a crash on Grand Island where a car and a motorcycle collided on Love Road around 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
Sheriff's deputies say the motorcycle was engulfed in flames when they arrived and the car nearly struck a house.
The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene.
Authorities say the medical examiner's office is working to identify that person.
The operator of the other vehicle was evaluated at the scene by EMS personnel.
Investigators are still searching for what caused the crash.
