LYNDON, N.Y. — A woman is dead after a crash in Cattaraugus County.
Karen Putt, 42, was driving on Abbott Road in Lyndon around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
State Police believe Putt crossed into the oncoming lane, went off the road and hit a tree.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers say an autopsy is scheduled to determine exactly what caused her death.
