BUFFALO, N.Y. — A string of violence overnight in Buffalo, with multiple shootings and stabbings, left one man dead and several others injured.

A man was shot and killed just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on the first block of Collins Walk. Police say the 43-year-old was outside at the time of the incident. Paramedics took him to ECMC, where he pronounced dead.

Right around the same time, a victim was shot multiple times on Kent Street around 3:30 a.m. He then ran to Geneva and Memorial and was taken to ECMC from there. He's listed in stable condition.

Earlier in the night, just before midnight, there were reports of a stabbing on Texas Street, injuring one person.

Also Thursday, there was reports of a stabbing at the Amherst Street NFTA Station where the victim was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
