Common Cause is calling on the Joint Commission on Public Ethics to investigate whether the Cuomo administration used government resources for campaign work.

Specifically, the group wants JCOPE to look into Joe Percoco's actions in 2014, when he had left his job with the executive chamber to run Cuomo's re-election campaign.

During Percoco's bribery trial earlier this year, witnesses testified he did campaign work out of the governor's New York City office.

And this weekend, the Albany Times Union published a story outlining Percoco's use of a government phone line, which would be a violation of the public officers law.

Here to talk more about the issue is Common Cause New York associate director Sarah Goff.
