Some are charged with illegal entry and many have come from the southern border seeking asylum.

Local volunteers have offered assistance in the form of legal services or interpretation, but the situation poses new challenges each and every day.

Camille Mackler, from the New York Immigration Coaltion, and Sarah Rogerson, Director of the Immigration Law Clinic at ALbany Law are here to talk more about the status of these immigrants and what resources they require.
