Last year, there were 333 reported cases of human trafficking in New York, and the majority were sex trafficking cases. And the state ranks among the worst for its efforts to stop it. Last week, Governor Cuomo announced a proposed bill regarding child sex trafficking victims. And this week, the Assembly passed a package of bills aimed at stopping human trafficking and increasing support for victims.
