Transgender Day of Remembrance is an annual memorial honoring people who were killed because of their gender identity. Monday was an international day of remembrance, but cities across upstate are holding their own ceremonies. La'Mia Aiken and Gabby Santos, both from In Our Own Voices, discuss the importance of this day and the efforts to improve lives for gender-non-conforming people.
