DALLAS, Tx. — The Bills traded up twice in the first round of the NFL Draft, and picked the men they hope become the Bills' future franchise quarterback and linebacker.

The team selected quarterback Josh Allen from Wyoming with the seventh pick in the draft. To get there, the Bills sent pick 12 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, along with both of their second-round picks.

Allen didn't exactly dominate his collegiate competition, with just over 1,800 yards and 16 touchdowns last season. His touchdown to interception ratio the past two seasons is around two-to-one.

Accuracy is also an issue, with just a 56-percent completion percentage. Allen's been working with Jordan Palmer the past few months and feels his mechanics are helping correct things.

The Bills also traded their second first rounder, pick 22, and a third rounder to the Baltimore Ravens to move up and pick linebacker Tremaine Edmunds with pick 16.

Edmunds, the youngest player in the draft, was a beast at Virginia Tech, totaling 108 tackles last year and earning a spot on the ACC's all-defense first-team.
