ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Tre'Davious White has had a solid start to his career; he's tied for the most passes defensed in the NFL, but there's a tall task ahead for the cornerback against the New Orleans Saints this Sunday, and one with extra meaning.

White is getting a taste of home this weekend as the Shreveport, Louisiana native faces his childhood NFL team.

"My whole family's Saints fans so I grew up that way and he was the guy that after we went through Katrina in Louisiana, he brought us the Super Bowl," White said. "That was a big deal so I grew up a Drew Brees fan. Deuce McAllister and guys like that, so I've always been a Saints fan my entire life. To go up against him is going to be a big deal and I'm ready."

White says he never thought about facing Brees as a pro, for good reason.

"I was hoping once I got to the NFL that he'd be retired by then because he's lighting people up," White said. "Hall of Fame guy. He's going to be a first ballot. It's a tremendous challenge for us this weekend and obviously we know what's at stake and we have to defend our dirt."

Sunday marks the first time White's ever seen the Saints in person, considering he'd never even been to an NFL game before suiting up for the Bills week one. No need to question the cornerback's allegiance. As for the rest of the White family; different story.

"You know what, I'm going to be completely honest with you. My family will want me to do well, but I guarantee I got family that's going to be back in Louisiana with Saints jerseys on," White said.
