Closing arguments are expected today in the trial of the Rochester man accused of stabbing his estranged wife and daughter to death.
Patrick Brooks is charged with killing Christie and Victoria Brooks.
He had been released from prison just weeks before the homicides last November.
The mother and daughter were killed inside their Wellington Avenue home the day after Thanksgiving.
Prosecutors say Victoria was home from Canisius College in Buffalo for the holiday weekend.
Seven children were in the home at the time.
Brooks' attorney claims there is no definitive evidence linking her client to the crime.
