The Mets have promoted second baseman Jeff McNeil and first baseman Peter Alonso to Triple-A. The pair is currently second and third in OPS in the Eastern League, respectively.

Alonso, the Mets' fourth ranked prospect, is the only Rumble Pony to have played all 65 games this season. The 22-year-old is hitting .314/.440/.579 with a league-leading 15 home runs.

McNeil had a league-best 17 game hitting streak this season and is batting .327/.402/.626.
