STONY BROOK, N.Y. (AP) -- Akwasi Yeboah had 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead Stony Brook to a 77-66 victory over Binghamton on Thursday night.

Yeboah made three 3-pointers and was 9-of-14 shooting from the floor. Jaron Cornish added 15 points and five assists, and UC Iroegbu chipped in 12 points for Stony Brook (8-11, 3-2 America East).

J.C. Show had 15 points for Binghamton (10-10, 1-4), which has lost four of its last five games. Everson Davis added 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Cornish's 3-pointer sparked a 19-3 run and the Seawolves led 68-55 with 3:19 to play. Cornish, Bryan Sekunda and Iroegbu made consecutive 3-pointers, and Cornish finished with eight points while the Bearcats missed four field goals during the stretch. Show made a 3 to stop the drought, but Stony Brook made 7 of 8 free throws to seal it.
