December is a stressful month for most students, preparing to move back home for the holiday break or cramming for final exams.

Binghamton University is hosting yoga classes, dance parties, and time with animals this month to help classmates handle the pressure.

Experts say taking care of mental health is just as important as good physical health.

"We believe that wellness is a holistic idea, so that's your physical and mental wellness are closely related by eating and staying hydrated, that actually helps you regulate your mood,” said Mental Health Outreach Peer Education internship director Jessica Cohen.

Experts also recommend taking a 10-minute break for every hour spent studying.
