New developments have come out in the battle for the 22nd Congressional District.

Unofficial numbers came in from Broome County which gave challenger Anthony Brindisi a major bump.

Brindisi pulled in about 1,300 more absentee and affidavit votes in the county, over incumbent Congressowoman Claudia Tenney. That's about the same number Brindisi led the entire race by on Election night.

With the added votes, Brindisi has a total of 123,475 votes while Tenney has 120,342 votes.

Tenny gained in Oswego County. However, Brindis brought in more absentees in Herkimer, Cortland and Madison Counties.

Tioga and Chenango Counties are still counting along with Oneida County, where there have been a number of challenges made by both parties, regarding vote counts. Those votes will be set aside and ruled on by the court. As of Friday afternoon, Oneida County had less than 100.

The final numbers need to be in to the State Board of Elections by December 3rd.
